Today, after work, we are going to visit a friend, A, in Geilenkirchen, home to a portion of the World's Biggest Gang. The city sits on the boarder of Germany and The Netherlands. My friend's house is in Germany, but the end of her street is in The Netherlands.
I was hoping not to take Crazy Dog, but P insists (she said that if he couldn't come, she didn't want to go, and the visit is her idea). He's going. Another battle lost. Since it's about a 3 hour ride, I hope they fall fast asleep, after a dinner of chicken nuggets and cheeseburgers in the back seat, while watching The Rugrats.
I'm hoping to talk A into going to Amsterdam, since it's only 1.5 hours away. If so, I'll have plenty of pictures to verify everything you've heard about A-Dam...and POSTCARDS!!!
If I don't get a chance to post this weekend, have a great weekend, stay out of the heat, it's dangerous. Coolest place in ANY city? The X-ray department in the hospital.
