It's only fair that after talking trash about my brother that was 10 months late paying me back the $500 that I loaned him, that I admit that he has FINALLY paid up. I use the the term 'paid up' VERY loosley, for the following reasons:
After the date approved by him, I took the 'check' to my credit union at the the World's Busiest Air Base, the teller looked at the suspicious check, and showed it to tellers sitting to both the left AND the right of her (they both had the look of WTF? on their face after looking at it). I guess since neither the left or right teller was the Head Money Counter, she excused herself to go in the back, to talk to HMC (and show her the suspect check).
Once she returned, she informed me that the HMC said they would have to hold the suspect check for at least 10 days. Not FOR 10 days, but AT LEAST 10 days (there went plans for our IKEA shopping trip).
I told her to just deposit it into my secret account, the account where all the cashola is marinating, because I wouldn't need it for at least 10 days.

Why, Why, Why???
Why did one of the ladies that work in another office in the building that I work wear CLEAR HEELS and TWEED pants to work today? Is it ok to wear tweed when it's 80 degees out? I don't even remember what kind of top she had on, I was to dumbfounded by the CLEAR HEELS and TWEED. I think this is all Mary's fault for bringing it up. Too bad my camera was home on the table with a dead battery (I think I left the charger in Greece...it might be time to buy a new camera...has 10 days passed yet?)

It makes me sad when I hear the Leader of the Free World give an international speech, and when he should have said 'ideology', he said 'idea log'. Very. Sad.
