It's Only Fair
It's only fair that after talking trash about my brother that was 10 months late paying me back the $500 that I loaned him, that I admit that he has FINALLY paid up. I use the the term 'paid up' VERY loosley, for the following reasons:
- He mailed me a check...for $525. $500 to pay his debt, and $25 for P
- The check was a 'starter' check, from a new account
- The his name address was hand written on the check there was no check number in the upper right corner
- The address on the check was not the same address on the envelope...not even the same city
- When I emailed him and told him that I had finally received the envelope, he asked me not to deposite it for a few days
Once she returned, she informed me that the HMC said they would have to hold the suspect check for at least 10 days. Not FOR 10 days, but AT LEAST 10 days (there went plans for our IKEA shopping trip).
I told her to just deposit it into my secret account, the account where all the cashola is marinating, because I wouldn't need it for at least 10 days.

Why, Why, Why???
Why did one of the ladies that work in another office in the building that I work wear CLEAR HEELS and TWEED pants to work today? Is it ok to wear tweed when it's 80 degees out? I don't even remember what kind of top she had on, I was to dumbfounded by the CLEAR HEELS and TWEED. I think this is all Mary's fault for bringing it up. Too bad my camera was home on the table with a dead battery (I think I left the charger in Greece...it might be time to buy a new camera...has 10 days passed yet?)

It makes me sad when I hear the Leader of the Free World give an international speech, and when he should have said 'ideology', he said 'idea log'. Very. Sad.
