The Bad Influence

Crazy Dog has been with us for almost a year (we got him a week before Christmas last year). With him being a pup and all, I would just let him eat ALLLLL day. After a few months, I noticed that he would eat until he made himself sick (not a pretty sight).

Another owner of a Yorkie suggested that I feed him only 2 times a day. In the beginning, it was a little hard for him to figure out the new schedule, which led to a few missed meals. For a while he was eating fine, and beginning to 'bulk up' a little (as much as a 5lb. dog can). Lately, I noticed that he hasn't been eating much. I put the food out, and he would sniff the bowl and look and at me, but wouldn't eat.

Last night, I put his food down and went to make dinner. CD and P were VERY quiet, which meant only one thing~they were plottin' on me! The only sound in the house was crunching. I was happy to hear CD eating, so I went to check on him.

I figured out why CD won't eat when I put his food out:

HE WON'T EAT IF SOMEONE DOESN'T HAND FEED HIM!!! I'll be John Brown (don't ask who JB is) if I hand feed a dog!!

Apparently P feeds him most of the time! I asked her why she feeds him and she said 'He's a baby, so I need to feed him'.

The girl is a bad influence on the dog!
