First things first...a moment of silence for the St. Louis Rams...there, it's done.

I've had a terrible migraine all day. It's been so long since I've had one (I've had only 1 since P was born), that I've forgotton how debilitating they actually are. While I was in the Army, after many tests, it was revealed that my migraines occurr because I am allergic to larger quantities of food preservatives, namely monosodium galutamate (MSG). I usually take Imitrex injections when the migraine starts, but this morning I noticed that all my injections have expired. It took me about 3 hours to remember all that I have eaten since yesterday. Then I remembered that P and I went to a friend's house to have dinner, and she made steaks, and used Meat Tenderizer as a seasoning, which is 100% MSG.
So far today, I've drank about 1 1/2 gallons of water, with the hopes of diluting the MSG. So far, so good. The migraine is still here, just not as intense. The longest I've had one is 56 hours, and I've only had this one for about 13 hours, so I've got plenty of time before I really start worrying.

P is at D's house tonight, and she called me about 10 minutes ago and asked me if I can clean her room for her before she comes home tomorrow morning because she 'forgot' to clean it before she left today. I guess it's good that she remembered, isn't it????
