Dedicated!

Because I love my job pickin' cotton (it pays da bills!), I lumbered out of bed to get to work for a few reasons (even though the hacking cough is still here):

I know if I stayed home, P would want to go to daycare bright and early to see her 'friends', so if I leave the house to take her ALL the way to daycare, I should go on to work.
I work with one other cotton picker and the office is pretty chill.
I don't want to waste any of my 100+ hours of leave on something like being sick, when I'll need it all for my '05 summertime excursions (to Greece, St. Lucia, and in May we'll venture to Turks & Caicos).

So, I'm pickin' my share of cotton today. THE WEEKEND IS HERE!!!

I totally understand because I have to take M to school and if I'm up and out there's really no sense in going back home.

To answer your question from my blog, I'm from Heidelberg, Germany! :) But I know allll about K-Town. We used to go to that club on base, Armstrong's when it was still jumpin. Oh man I miss Germany :(
